Dr. Arroyo has a subspecialty in advanced laparoscopic surgery. Laparoscopic surgery is mainly used in the abdomen allowing entry into the abdomen through small wounds, reducing pain after the operation and giving patients the opportunity to return to everyday life faster.

 

Our goal is to help patients who have an acute or chronic problem and who need an operation to improve their quality of life.

 

The specialty of General Surgery focuses on the care of abdominal diseases that include: (intestines, gallbladder, stomach, spleen and hernias among others), soft tissue, skin, thyroid, parathyroid and sinuses among others . This includes care before, during and after the operation. The field of Laparoscopic Surgery focuses on diseases of the abdomen but is done through small wounds obtaining the same result as the conventional form but with a faster and less painful recovery.
